Reed Diffuser Tips & Tricks
How to Use a Reed Diffuser
-
Keep your reed diffuser out of reach of children or pets, and place it on a coaster or tray to catch any oil drips, preventing it from staining counters or other surfaces.
-
When first using your reed diffuser, dip the reed sticks in to absorb the oil. Then flip them over so that the saturated ends are in the air, allowing for the fragrance to start filtering.
-
Flip your reeds when you desire more scent. Be cautious when flipping them, doing it over a paper towel to save your surfaces from drips.
What Does a Reed Diffuser Do?
Reed diffusers disperse scent as fragrance oil is absorbed by the reeds, moving to the top where it is evaporated into the air. When placed in high traffic areas, the scent is able to circulate around a space.
Avoid placing it drafty areas; like near vents, fans, windows, doors that lead to outside, radiators, and air conditioning units; to prevent the oil from dissipating quickly.
We offer a selection of scenting solutions to satisfy a variety of needs. A reed diffuser alternative, that is also heatless/waterless, would be our Scent Diffuser.
How Long Do Reeds Last in a Diffuser?
The oil in our Reed Diffusers last approximately 3-4 months. Since the reeds loose potency after a while, it is best to purchase a new diffuser at this time to ensure the quality of the sticks.
Are Reed Diffusers Healthy?
Diffusers make an excellent alternative to scenting products like candles and oils wax melts, which require a flame. They use natural elements, like a drafty gust of air, to scent a space.
Which Reed Diffuser is the Best?
We offer two Reed Diffusers - Black and Platinum. While all of our Reed Diffusers are made using the highest quality fragrance oil concentrations, some scents have a stronger cold throw than others, meaning they scent without the use of electricity or an open-flame.

Concierge Tip
Reed Diffusers and Scenting Oils should not be exposed to direct sunlight and shouldn’t be close to a window or radiator to prevent oil evaporation. Keep in mind that vents; fans; and drafts, from open windows and doors; can blow air throughout a room, causing the aroma to circulate and dissipate the oil more quickly, causing you to run out of your favorite products faster.
